To ensure correct and consistent functioning of the ring the HTML code should be copied exactly as listed, with the following two exceptions:

• For ease of editing, I have shown the HTML tags enclosed by parentheses '( )'. HTML tags in an actual page should be enclosed between less-than and greater-than symbols '< >'.
  
• The X in the sample code should on your page be replaced by your own site id #. This site id # is given to you when you place your site in the queue or 'waiting list' to be placed on the ring. The link to the queue form can be found on the main page.

This page is provided only as a sample of what the proper webring HTML code would look like.
When you place your site in the ring queue, you will receive an e-mail with a detailed listing of the exact code that will work for your particular page.
